How long does a commercial new build take?
Timescales vary significantly based on size and complexity. A small retail unit might take 3 to 6 months from planning to handover. A large office or industrial building typically takes 9 to 18 months. We provide a detailed Gantt chart programme at tender stage.
Do you handle planning applications?
Yes. Our design-and-build service includes full planning application management, from pre-application consultations with the local authority through to final approval. We also manage building control and any Section 106 obligations.
What size of commercial project do you take on?
We typically work on projects valued between 150,000 and 5 million. This covers everything from single retail units and small offices to medium-sized industrial developments and multi-unit commercial schemes.
Are you CDM compliant?
Absolutely. We act as Principal Contractor under CDM 2015 regulations. We prepare and maintain construction phase plans, site inductions, method statements, risk assessments, and all required documentation.
