We carry out crack monitoring and investigation to determine whether cracks are caused by structural movement (subsidence, settlement, overloading) or simply thermal/seasonal movement. Structural cracks are typically wider than 5mm, diagonal, and increase over time. We'll provide a clear diagnosis before recommending any remedial works.
Do you provide guarantees on repair work?
Yes. All repair work comes with a minimum 12-month defects liability period. Specialist treatments carry longer guarantees, damp proofing typically 20 to 30 years, timber treatment 20 years, and structural repairs backed by the structural engineer's professional indemnity insurance.
Can you work on occupied commercial buildings?
Yes. We regularly carry out repairs to occupied offices, shops, and public buildings. We manage noise, dust, and access carefully to minimise disruption to tenants and customers.
Do insurance companies accept your repair reports?
